Shipping Policy

When will my order be shipped/arrive?
Orders are shipped via UPS, UPS Ground, and special carrier as required by product and location.  After shipping, delivery time is within 2-7 days. Method of shipment is determined by the nearest outlet distribution center to your delivery address, using the zip code you have supplied.  If you have questions about your delivery, e-mail us, or call our Internet Service Center toll free at 855-311-HVAC. Orders placed M-F before 12:00 noon PST will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 12:00 noon PST will be shipped the next business day. Orders placed on Fridays after 12:00 noon PST, or on the weekend, will be shipped on Monday, barring federal holidays. Some items may be on backorder and will require a few extra days. Next day orders placed on Fridays will not be processed until Monday. Next day Saturday orders are not available on line.

Expected Shipping Times
This refers to the time an item is leaving our warehouse, not the time it arrives. The delivery time will vary and be determined by the shipping method you have chosen, and the destination of purchase.

Price Quotes
Prices are set by our suppliers and are subject to change without notice. Written quotes are good for 30 days, and oral quotes are good on the day quoted.

Special Order Items

Longer delivery times are required for special order items. Special order items include, for example, a part that is out of stock with all our suppliers, and must be ordered directly from the factory. You will be contacted via email or phone, if we need to special order your part. Adjustment time will be noted, and you will be advised of the lead time before the product will be shipped. We will follow up with you and provide a tracking number for your order as soon as it goes out. After your payment is approved in advance and the delivery address is verified, special order items will be shipped when they are ready. You will be notified via e-mail when your special order is ready.

Shipping Rules, Restrictions

We only ship Mon. thru Fri. with the exclusion of federal holidays. Your shipping and handling costs will be automatically calculated on the Shipping Options page of check out and will reflect what you will pay.  Oversized items being shipped by  freight trucking company will require extra shipping and handling time, and cannot be expedited. For ductwork, and other large oversized items, additional shipping charges may be charged to your credit card, in the event that our actual shipping cost runs higher than you were billed. This would only apply if the shipping calculator on the website does not calculate dimensional weight correctly, and the difference is significant.

Shipping Methods and Costs
Different shipping methods may be available to you depending on the items you purchase, and the delivery site. A $5.99 charge will be applied for handling costs on all orders. Handling charge will be displayed clearly during checkout. Some items will have only one shipping method available. The cost of shipping depends on the weight of the item and shipping method you select, and the delivery site. The cost of shipment will be available to you before check out is complete. On most items, you will have the option of upgrading your shipping method for faster delivery times, (i.e. Overnight or 3rd Day Delivery). If you choose to upgrade, your order must be received by 12:00 noon PST, or the order will be not be processed until the next business day.  (M-F, excluding federal holidays).  To upgrade, please call our customer service dept. toll free at (855)311-HVAC.

Shipping your product.

We ship from many warehouses located in many different locations in the US. Your product will be delivered from the warehouse closest to your delivery address.

Shipments by Freight:

AirSupplyAmerica.com prepays all shipments made by freight, and a $5.99 handling charge is added to all shipments. An additional handling charge will not be applied to backordered items. Charges for additional services, (i.e. shipment from point specified by customer), will be applied.  Our policy for export freight orders may be subject to special terms and conditions. UPS calculates shipping only up to 150 lbs., orders that are over 150 lbs. will be calculated at the time of shipping.  If an order does not display the shipping cost, it will be calculated after the sale, the customer will be notified of cost before we ship.  The title and risk shall be passed to purchaser at the point of delivery to common carrier. If products are damaged in shipping, a claim must be filed with the manufacturer, not with AirSupplyAmerica.com. Compressors are always shipped via freight, on a small pallate, upright, so UPS shipping options will not be used. Additional shipping charges may apply if you select UPS ground, during checkout, and we need to pay additional freight for special handling of compressors.

Pricing
The prices quoted on our web site are the net prices for the items in US currency. The prices do not include shipping, handling, applicable taxes, (federal, state, and local), or duties on export items.  Prices and terms are subject to change without notice.  Market sensitive items will be priced based on fair market pricing on the day of purchase. Although this is extremely rare, if you have already ordered your part, and a price discrepancy exists, please rest assured that you will be notified immediately regarding the price difference. You will have the option to back out of the purchase at any time, and will be given a full refund of the purchase price, if this should occur.

Sales Tax
No Sales tax will be charged except for items shipped within the State of California. California Sales tax is 8.0%

Order cancellations
We reserve the right to cancel an order for any reason. You will be notified of the cancellation and the reason. (i.e. product availability, out of delivery area, pricing errors, etc.) Orders cancelled by the customer are subject to a $20.00 cancellation fee

Receipt of purchase/order confirmation
After your order is complete, you will receive confirmation via e-mail. Your order will be shipped the same day if received during regular business hours, (M-F 7am to 4pm PST), if product is in stock. You will be charged all shipping charges if an order is cancelled while in transit. Shipping charges will be charged to credit card of buyer.

Refunds
There are no refunds on Custom Orders, or Special Orders.  Please check your information carefully. If this is a product not in our stock, or a product that is made to your specifications, it is a special order or a custom order and there are no refunds available for these items.  WE WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURN OR ISSUE REFUNDS ON THESE ITEMS.
***Additionally, on items that are refundable, there are no refunds on shipping and handling, unless AirSupplyAmerica.com shipped the order incorrectly.

Warranty and Product Guarantee
All product have a 90 day warranty from date of purchase. AirSupplyAmerica will replace or repair the item at it's discretion. Shipping and handling are not  included in warranty. Buyer will ship the product to AirSupplyAmerica.com at their own expense. Buyer agrees to pay all shipping and handling charges on all exchange parts and equipment. AirSupplyAmerica.com is not responsible for labor charges on equipment installation. All parts and equipment should be installed, serviced, and repaired by a licensed heating and air specialist.

Return of Products
Products that are still in original shipping containers, that have not been opened or installed may be returned within ten days of receipt, with authorization approval code.  Products that have been installed are not returnable.  A 25% restocking fee will apply from our parts department. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable, to and from the delivery site. Return of products must meet the the above and following criteria. 1) Uninstalled. 2) Original shipping container. 3) 25% restocking fee. 4) Buyer pays all shipping and handling charges. 5) Buyer gets an authorization code from AirSupplyAmerica.com. 6) It must be within 10 days of purchase.

Minimum order
There is a $150.00 minimum on special and custom orders.

Keeping all electronic receipts helps you and helps us with order, shipping and delivery dates.  This also helps you to keep track of all fees, and costs, and other transaction details.

Damaged freight
AirSupplyAmerica.com will not be responsible for damaged freight. It is the responsibility of the buyer to inspect all equipment and parts upon delivery, and file damage and freight claims immediately, in order to receive replacement equipment and parts.  All products are inspected by manufacturer prior to packaging and shipping and becomes your property once it is shipped.  In spite of our best efforts to package and ship securely, occasionally an item is damaged in transit. Here is what you should do to protect yourself. Before signing the delivery receipt, make sure that all items on the bill are present, and if not, note it on the bill and have the driver sign the delivery slip attesting to the missing item, or items. Always note damage to packing and have the driver attest and sign the delivery slip as to the condition of the packaging. We recommend that you unpack each carton in the driver's presence, and note any damage or irregularities, and make a note on the delivery receipt and have the driver sign the receipt. Contact the carrier immediately to file a claim. If you discover concealed damage, contact the carrier immediately and request an inspection of materials. Keep all shipping containers and inserts intact. Take photographs to support your claim. If damage renders merchandise useless, refuse delivery. Make a note on the receipt and have driver verify.

Exceptions to Warranties and Service and Returns
The warranties and service agreements and rules for return are as noted above. The exception applies to all electrical parts.  Motors, capacitors, compressors, relays, circuit boards and gas valves are not returnable. All electrical parts come with a 90 day manufacturers warranty from the original purchase date. All electrical parts are subject to same criteria as noted above.

Permits and Inspection
Always check with your city's Building and Safety Dept. for necessary permits and requirements before installation. Most areas require a permit whether you are installing a new system or replacing an old one. Additionally, permits for new gas lines may be required. It is the responsibility of homeowners to make sure all necessary permits have been acquired.  We would also recommend that you have your local gas company inspect and start up any new or replacement installations. Most will do this free of charge.

Safety first
Always pay close attention to all manufacturers specs, safety warnings and procedures. Always have a person who is qualified oversee and/or perform any installations. Warranty may be voided if a certified installer does not perform the installation.
